Kilometer

WISE2023 · Order and Chaos "Kilometer" archives a portion of the massive slide collection from my grandfather's cellar: slides taken by an unknown photographer reveal cultural stories and captured moments. Before my grandfather was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease, he used to uphold the tradition of slide shows, but they remained unused until today. The cover displays the coordinates of the Uelzen railway station, the starting and ending point of this journey. In contrast to the photographs, personal documents like diary entries from my grandmother, primarily from Mexico, provide intimate insights.
